Pre-insulated pipes

A pre-insulated pipe system is an advanced technology used in heating, cooling, and various media transmission systems, such as domestic water or industrial fluids. Pre-insulated pipes are characterized by a structure that provides excellent thermal insulation, minimizing heat loss and improving the energy efficiency of the system.

Construction of pre-insulated pipes:

– Conveying (inner) pipe – typically made of steel, copper, plastics (e.g., polyethylene), or other materials resistant to the medium being transmitted through the installation. Its primary function is to transport liquids or gases.

– Thermal insulation – surrounds the conveying pipe and is usually made of polyurethane foam (PUR), which has excellent insulating properties. This insulation minimizes heat or cold loss during the transport of the medium over long distances.

– Protective (outer) casing – the outer layer made of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or other plastics, protecting the system from mechanical damage, moisture, and atmospheric factors.

In more advanced systems, pre-insulated pipes can be equipped with a moisture detection system, which monitors the condition of the installation and provides early detection of potential leaks.

Advantages of the pre-insulated pipe system:

1. Minimization of heat loss – due to the insulating layer, energy losses are significantly lower compared to traditional pipes.

2. Protection against weather conditions – the outer casing protects the installation from external factors such as moisture, UV radiation, or mechanical damage.

3. Ease of installation – pre-insulated pipes are prefabricated and delivered to the site ready for installation, which shortens the installation time.

4. Low maintenance requirements – the system is durable and corrosion-resistant, reducing the need for frequent maintenance.

5. Extended lifespan – thanks to proper protection and insulating properties, a pre-insulated pipe system can operate for many years without the need for repairs.

Pre-insulated pipe systems are widely used in municipal heating networks, industrial plants, residential construction and wherever energy efficiency and reliability are much important.
Our range includes systems for applications up to 150°C and above 150°C
