High frequency welded pipes (HFI, HFW, ERW)

HFI, HFW and ERW pipes are made by welding the edges of steel strip in coils with high frequency induction.

Depending on required mechanical and technological properties, pipes are produced from the following steel types:
– unalloyed and low alloyed,
– microalloyed and fine-grained steels,
– quality,
– special,
– normalized or thermomechanical rolled.

Pipes may be subjected to non-destructive testing including hydrostatic pressure test and automatic ultrasonic or radiological tests.

Pipes are manufactured with single longitudinal weld. Deliveries are realized with either plain or beveled ends.

Pipe length: 6 – 12 m, lengths up to 18 m or any length according to the customer’s request

Areas of application: gas transport, oil pipelines, hot-water pipes, potable water distribution systems, sewer piping and construction purposes

Anticorrosive protection:
Pipes may be delivered either without anticorrosive protection or PE coated and epoxy or cement lined.
